Steve Dodge,  a multi-talented man, songwriter, singer and musician .  He could make any song his own with his style and versatility.

In 1962, Steve was the lead guitar player in a very popular band in Phoenix, Arizona called "The Vibratos".    In the band with Steve was, David Ledbetter, Jim Vannier and Gary Melgaard.  They took this town by storm, even had a single titled "I'll Be Back"  that made it to #2 on the local record charts.  The Beatles "I'll Be Back was released in the state several months later.

When The Vibratos broke up Steve went on to other projects and then decided to go out on his own.   Steve recorded a country LP titled appropriately "Steve Dodge", a rock and roll CD titled "Lay Down Your Weapons" with the song "Shakey Money" being used in the TV movie "Thanks of a Grateful Nation" and a blues CD titled "Self Made Blues".  All of his muscial endeavors showcased his wide range of talent.

Steve was taken from us much too soon but his music and talent will always be with us thanks to the recordings he left behind.  This website is dedicated to this very special man and his extraordinary talent.
